Welcome to The Gulf Breeze in North Hernando Beach. From the moment we first saw this home, we fell in love. Our search for the opportunity to escape and relax was complete. Something this good has to be shared. Our sincerest hope is that our guests come to enjoy their time here as much as we do and The Gulf Breeze will become your home to Escape and Relax. We are located at the North end of Hernando Beach, with a 3 minute boat ride to the Gulf and all it offers.

 

If you like Pina Coladas..... Then Gulf Breeze is your ideal spot. As soon as you enter the property, cares and worries begin to fade away. Watch the sunrise over the Gulf of America and the Hernando Beach Flats, often referred to as the world's largest swimming pool. Our upstairs balcony offers stunning views. Take in the sun on our boat dock or enjoy the shade of our covered gazebo, giving you the chance to see visiting dolphins and fishes- all while cooking up a storm. Go for a swim right off our dock, or take out the kayaks that are provided and explore the Nature Coast and local Weeki Wachee River. Rod and Reels are provided and many a dinner was caught right off our sea wall. As the sun sets, enjoy the peaceful quiet as the gulf breezes surround you. The underwater LED fish light positioned off the gazebo turns the canals into your own personal fish tank.

(Water and Electricity is conviently located next to the boat dock.)

 

Our Home

Relax in our beautiful 4 bedroom 3 bath home. In addition to our fully stocked kitchen with everything you need to make a delicious meal, downstairs we have a outdoor kitchen/bar area for entertaining. This is our favorite place to gather and watch our favorite teams on the outdoor Large screen TV. Cast iron cookware is provided in the outdoor kitchen for the 4 burner gas stove. A gas grill and refrigerator are included. We ask that any seafood/fish is cooked in the outdoor kitchen and not inside.

 

Unique to our Home is the layout. The main living space on the second floor has two bedrooms, a king bed in bedroom one and full size bunk beds in bedroom two. Downstairs has two bedrooms, each with their own entrance and private bath. Great for extended family or couple trips.

(Each bedroom has a smart TV and a smart TV in the living room.)

 

Our home is located on the North end of Hernando Beach. The open water of the Gulf is less then 3 minutes away by boat.

Elizabeth’s place was absolutely everything we wanted for the 4th of July weekend. Her place is right on the water, easy access to our boat, nice breeze, and peaceful surroundings. Home was large enough for our family and our two dogs! They loved being outside by the water as much as we did! All the rooms were decorated nicely, clean, and had everything we needed. Elizabeth left us drinks, snacks, and even treats for our dogs which was very appreciative. She communicated well, answered, all of my questions, and even gave us information about events in the area. Neighbors were super nice, and welcoming. Outdoor kitchen was great and we cooked out there for our entire stay. Really couldn’t have asked for anything more, I would highly recommend, and definitely will be back!

Erster Eindruck -wow- riesig 😀, sehr gepflegt und sauber. Der Außenbereich lädt zum Entspannen, Vögel, Fische, Sonnenauf-/untergang beobachten ein, sogar Delfine konnten wir sehen. Wir waren jeden Tag schwimmen vom Dock aus, hier wäre vielleicht eine Leiter schön. Der Innenbereich ist liebevoll eingerichtet und dekoriert. Die Küche super ausgestattet, wir haben nichts vermisst. Es gibt eine Auswahl an Kaffee, Gewürzen. Das Bett ist schön groß und sehr bequem, so schöne Bettwäsche. Alles ist sehr sauber, so kann man sich ab dem ersten Moment wohlfühlen. Das Highlight waren abends das Fischlicht und natürlich die Kajaks. Der Kontakt zur Vermieterin war sehr gut, es kann immer eine Antwort auf unsere Fragen. Hier würden wir jederzeit gerne wieder Urlaub machen.

We went with 11, 9 teenagers. The layout allowed us to go in downstairs apartment and have our separate space. I brought my two dogs and they loved it. The kids went on the kayaks days before the snow storm hit Florida and were swimming in the ocean. They took the dog with them too! The outdoor kitchen was amazing. We went right down the road and grabbed seafood from the marina and grilled out. I’ll be honest this trip changed how I view Airbnbs because I always book them around an event etc or as just a place to sleep while we go somewhere however this unit I would definetly book for the weekend just to have a good weekend with my kids the Airbnb was a vacation in itself! I extended another day. For my kids this was one of their favorite trips we’ve taken it was all based around the Airbnb itself so I will be taking the lessons learned and applying them to my vacation planning! Deff reach out with last minute weekend deals Lisa I’m not above coming back short notice!

I can't say enough about Lisa's home. It was absolutely beautiful. The home was immaculate, fully stocked, clean, the decor was spot on and fit the relaxed beach vibe perfectly. If you have doggo's you want to bring, Lisa had a welcome basket set up for dogs as well. It had doggie blankets, shampoo, smell good spray and they even had a small dog cage set up. it was so cute and thoughtful. Poop bags were available outside. The summer kitchen was super convenient for hanging out and cooking dinner. We fished off the dock. There were kayaks and anything you could possibly want to enjoy the water. We saw dolphins and manatees in the canal. I highly recommend this place and we will be back for sure!!!

Lisa adds a personal touch to your stay, and was a very good communicator, answering our questions about a marina for boat rental, and excellent directions for where to kayak. She even added 2 extra kayaks and 2 paddleboards for us to use during our stay. We saw a dolphin swim by right behind the house one morning, and saw a manatee while kayaking one evening. The children's pop up tent was a big hit for our granddaughter, and dog treats for our fur babies! Thank you Lisa, for offering such a beautiful place for our family to gather and make memories! The best place for boating and the ability to park our boat trailer was so nice and made the experience bringing our boat so much easier. Lisa's place was perfect for a weekend getaway. The house itself is stocked with things to do - fish off the dock, outdoor games, several seating areas, kayaks, bikes, etc. It was a bonus to be able to dock our boat for easy access to gulf and flats. Layout works well with large family or groups with downstairs rooms having private entries and baths. Both Indoor and outdoor kitchens well stocked w cooking supplies. Lisa is super responsive if needed and the place was so quiet and peaceful. We followed her guidebook too an enjoyed a delicious dinner at Brian's place.

Just an absolutely excellent experience! We came to Lisa's paradise to spend some family time with our son on leave from the military. We had our family of 5 adults and one child stay COMFORTABLY. Upon arrival there was a cute basket with goodies and wine chilled in the fridge. We literally never left for 5 days other then to restock! We went kayaking, fishing, swimming, barbequed and relaxed in the well kept outdoor kitchen. This place is a absolute delight and so darn peaceful. Enjoyed coffee on the upper deck watching sunrise or set! Our family will absolutely come back! Our stay at Lisa's home was the perfect retreat for a long awaited vacation. The beautiful home, the location, the amenities, the decorations, the space, the views, and the host, completely amazing! We were there for 10 days and wish it could have been longer. We mostly enjoyed our stay. The house was inviting and right on the water. It was clean and fully furnished. The host was helpful. The weather was cold during our stay and the upstairs shower only got lukewarm for some reason. The sink water was nice and hot, so we had to use the sink water for bathing. The downstairs area is great for multi-family stays. Couples can have their own private space. There was another water issue with the bathroom with the king bed. The sink had smaller than a pencil think flow, making hand washing not the best. Outside of these water issues, the stay was fun. It was nice to get the whole family together, with our own private spaces, for a few days together.

We will be back! Our college friend group has grown since the addition of kids and this place had it all - lots of kid friendly activities and plenty of space for kidless adults to relax. Was there with my cousin and her family and the space was so inviting and comfortable that we ended up eating there all three nights and never went anywhere else for dinner. We were just enjoying the outside space and being together. We did rent a boat and saw a bunch of dolphins, but we also saw a big dolphin go right under the dock at Lisa‘s place. We stayed here for 2 nights after 5 days at Disney. When we pulled into the driveway we were speechless. Let me tell you, the pictures do not do this place justice. Lisa has thought of everything. This place is above and beyond what you can imagine. The upstairs bedrooms are spacious (but you will not spend much time in them), the upstairs bathroom is wonderful and the upstairs kitchen is stocked with everything you need. Walk out on the upstairs deck because the view is breathtaking. Downstairs, the bedrooms are just as roomy and the bathroom is perfect. There is also an outdoor kitchen including a dorm fridge, 4 burner gas cooktop, and both a charcoal and propane grill. The dock though is the amazing thing. Crystal clear water! A Dolphin came right up to the dock, a Stingray hung out all day, and we caught 2 big Catfish. Take the Kayaks out to the Mangroves and watch the sunrise and sunset. Rent a Pontoon and go out to the flats on the Gulf. Perfect, from check-in to checkout

Thank you Lisa for a spectacular stay! Our family of 10 stayed for a long weekend and there was PLENTY of room. This home was top notch from the moment we walked in! Everything was spotless, clean sheets and towels and it smelled so inviting! The kitchen was stocked with everything you need to cook. They had two coffee makers and left you coffee pods and coffee in the cabinet. I liked that it was stocked with spices and oil, one less thing to buy for vacation. Having the dock there was great for our boat and it was so easy to get to the ocean. Lisa even caters to fur babies, she had a cage, doggie bed and shampoo if you needed it, not to mention a food and water bowl. I would definitely stay at this beautiful home again, there was honestly not one negative thing. The neighbor next door was also extremely friendly. Great restaurants nearby and some of them were within a bike ride. It was also nice having the public boat dock so close by..Thank you again Lisa for sharing your paradise!

Absolutely incredible!! Owners spared no expense on this getaway! From furniture, linens, supplies, to games-Everything was better than we could’ve imagined. High end furniture in and out, bunk beds were full size top & bottom- Reclining couches. Tons of blankets for the cold mornings. Kitchen was amazingly equip. Offering coffee, seasonings, grilling utensils, tin foil, plastic and glass cups/plates. Great games & puzzles up stairs. Corn hole, night fishing, kayaks. Just so many great things to ensure you find a slice of paradise!

This place was amazing. Hands down would come here again. Everything was clean, matched the descriptions, and had a lot to offer. I had made Lisa aware ahead of time that there would be a birthday to celebrate and she included a little gift basket to make us feel special and right at home! Had a wonderful stay in this beautiful and peaceful house. We were able to kayak almost every day and it was so fun exploring the mangrove waterways. The house is very comfortable and the outdoor spaces are fabulous. Lisa is very friendly and always responsive to any questions. Wonderful host! Would happily stay here in the future!

This is a great house located right on the canal in Hernando Beach. Makes a great hub for activities in Crystal River, Weeki Wachee, Tarpon Springs… Spacious setting for a larger group. Private rooms downstairs perfect for traveling with other families or older kids. We had a great time celebrating Christmas here. The kitchen was pretty well stocked with pots and pans and small appliances which made cooking large meals easy. We had less than optimal weather during our stay and hope to come back some other time to explore the flats and do some other water activities.
